A very interesting "PIQURES DE MARSEILLE" collection dating back the end of the XVII and beginning of the XVIII century.

Taken for "Indienne" fabrics since 1686 these cotton pieces were barred by a strict custom rule.

Their present singularity is due to their domestic use and their recycling in infant clothes through the XIX periodes of scarcity.

This collection was gathered at the end of the last century and during the first part of the XX, when it was fashionable to keep those pieces of textiles and Marseilles faiences.

Please do not hesitate to contact us for more details about the collection.
